New FAQ
Why are you release the content so slow?
Ans: Because I am a amateur, to identify kanji from a real LN book is much harder that do it from the WN that already in a digital form. I am not Japanese native reader.
Why a part? not a chapter?
Ans: Because I not confident in my skill, to release the whole chapter in a short time seem to be impossible feat for me. as no one knew their future, I don't know how busy I gonna be in future or how much time I could spare for this.
Is there anyway to contact you privately?
Ans: Nope, I don't have intent to give away any detail about me even an email. after all, this is a gray activities and will become full black once Yen Press got a licence of this series.
You're suck!! because of you, other translators did not pick this series!
Ans: If you want me to quit, just tell me about this "other translator" and I will considerate about quit or not. I'm not that stubborn and always keep in mind about how worst my grammar is, as long as anyone can read for the best. I always open up.

WHY TRANSLATE IT INTO ENGLISH IF YOU DONT EVEN KNOW ENGLISH???

The other guy who translated this KNEW english. But know he said he was gonna stop because you f*cking halfheartedly ruined his motivation. yes, you ruined a perfect translator's motivation to translated. NO ONE enjoys your work you shitface. just STAHP!!!
or go pick up another series.

do you think he will be a weakling who quit when other people do the same thing?
In real world,
Are you gonna quit your job when other people do the same thing as your job? Nope.
Willl you lose motivation on your job when learn that other people do the same job? Nope.
Don't treat a translator as a weakling being despite being translator yourself....

DeleteWould you happen to need someone to proofread your chapters? If not the current ones, then the previous ones will be okay. Either way, I wanna' help your translations reach a higher quality so you can stop getting so much backlash over it. :P

Though mere words of mine typed in the net doesn't mean much, but I do really appreciate your hard work, as I tried translating before and it was pain in the ass. I do hope my gratitude will be enough to forget those ungrateful idiots who want to ruin you and your pride as a translator

ReplyDeleteReally appreciate your effort in translating this work and despite the negativity sent your way I do hope that you keep on doing this amazing favor for those of us who don't understand Japanese.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm going way over my head by saying this but would it be alright if I take a crack at editing your work? Admittedly I don't have any sort of previous experience for this so there is that but I do read a lot so there is that! I honestly felt like I wanted to contribute something to this project of yours.

ReplyDeletePlease consider getting an editor to look over the translated work and here are my reasons why; When many sentences are separated when they should be together in the form of a paragraph it becomes difficult to enjoy the scene taking places or to read it clearly. Second, your English is a bit off so an editor could polish the translation into something a little more smooth which would make reading these lovely series even more enjoyable. Finally it would be my hope that by getting an editor and collaborating with those who want to help you that everyone can enjoy Knights and Magic or any of these fine works.
